New Orleans Eats: Company Burger

Patrick went to Jersey for a couple of weeks and when he came back, it was his pick for date night. I suggested a few new places but already knew what he was going to pick. Company Burger on Freret had only been open for about a week and everyone has been raving about their burgers. I mean, who could say no to fresh made burgers, crispy golden fries, and baconaise.

The burger was delish. Juicy beef, a fresh bun and housemate bread an butter pickles, yes please. A single was big for me, but Patrick pigged out on a double.

I'll be honest, I really, really want to go back and get a huge batch of these. They were the perfect amount of crispy/soft with just enough kosher salt. Patrick had the sweet potato fries but mine were way better.

Not the most attractive photo, I know. However, one of the super cool things Company Burger has emphasized is their mayo bar. The night we went there were 7 options, but based on what I'd read, it had to be baconaise. It's kind of impossible to describe, so just try it.

If I were going back, I'd skip adding bacon and stick with baconaise. They also have a cornhog- pork belly corndog- that sounds really interesting.
