New Orleans Eats: Herbsaint

When I found out about my awesome job, Patrick and I had to celebrate. It was (obviously) my pick and I decided it was time to try a Donald Link restaurant. I've been too busy to blog regularly, but this should give you an idea of the delicious food we had.

It was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy the people watching available on St. Charles Avenue. After hearing the specials, Patrick jumped on the chicken and andoullie gumbo:


Then we split the beef shortrib and potato rosti:



Patrick decided to be adventurous and tried the soft shell crab special:



While I went with a safe, but delicious choice, the grilled ribeye:


Now for the really, really good part, dessert.  I had the warm pudding cake with salted caramel, cashew ice cream, and caramel corn:




While Patrick had a banana brown butter tart with fleur de sel caramel:
